Star Wars actor Mark Hamill has paid protection to co-star Carrie Fisher connected what would have been her 65th natal day.

Taking to Twitter, Hamill posted a behind-the-scenes dead reckoning of the dua goofing around along Set. Hamill is playing with Fisher's hair – who is looking for decidedly unimpressed.

On Instagram, Fisher's girl Billie Lourd marked the occasion with a heartwarming photo of the two together when Lourd was a child.

Fisher's French Bulldog, Gary, as wel marked the day: "Happy heavenly birthday to my mom. I miss these moments but cherish them as well. #garymisseshismom"

Star Wars fans near and far have as wel shared what Pekan, who passed away in 2016, meant to them.
